Principal’s MessagePhoto of Principal Sarasty

As we close another successful school year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our incredible students, staff, and families for making this year such a meaningful one.

Our students finished strong, demonstrating what it means to have a Champion Mindset. They showed up each day ready to learn, persevered through challenges, and worked hard to meet their goals. Their growth, accomplishments, and determination are a true reflection of the greatness that exists within our Little River community.

As I complete my first year as Principal of Little River, I find myself reflecting on all that we have accomplished together. This year, we worked intentionally to make Little River the school we want it to be—a place where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their best. Through teamwork, dedication, and a shared commitment to excellence, we have built a strong foundation for the future.

This summer, we will take time to celebrate our successes while also engaging in thoughtful planning for the year ahead. We will continue to build upon our strengths, identify opportunities for growth, and strategically prepare for an even stronger school year. The work does not stop here—we are committed to continuously improving and providing the very best educational experience for our students.

Thank you for your partnership, support, and belief in our school. I am proud of all we have accomplished together and excited for what lies ahead. I hope each of you enjoys a safe, restful, and well-deserved summer break.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year as we continue our journey of excellence at Little River.

With appreciation,

Melissa Sarasty, Principal
