Principal’s Message
As we complete the first nine weeks of the school year, I am proud to share that Little River Elementary is off to a fantastic start!
Our students and staff have embraced this year's theme, Launching Greatness, and it has been exciting to see our school community learning, growing, and thriving together. One of the highlights of the year has been the launch of our House System. Students and staff have officially been sorted into their houses, and the positive energy, teamwork, and school spirit are already making a tremendous impact across our campus. It has been wonderful to watch our Dolphins build connections, celebrate successes, and encourage one another along the way.
As we continue our first year as a STEAM Academy, we recently celebrated our first STEAM Day. Students and staff participated in engaging, hands-on learning experiences that sparked creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. The excitement throughout the building was contagious, and we are already looking forward to our next STEAM Day and the opportunities it will bring for exploration and innovation.
This quarter, we also completed our first round of student data chats. These conversations gave students an opportunity to reflect on their progress, celebrate their accomplishments, and set meaningful goals for the months ahead. Together, we established mid-year targets that will help keep our students focused, motivated, and moving forward.
I am incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our students, staff, and families during these first nine weeks. The foundation we are building today will help us achieve great things throughout the year.
As we move into the next quarter, I encourage our students to continue soaring, challenging themselves, and striving for excellence. Remember, greatness is not achieved in a single moment—it is built through consistent effort, determination, and a belief in what is possible.
